Stage and Production Designer
Most recently James worked as Art Director on the Field of Dreams for Peacock Streaming, Set Designer on Showtimes' First Ladies and Upcoming Ghosted and Assistant Art Director on Showtimes' Penny Dreadful City of Angeles amongst others. He is a member of the Art Director's Guild Local 800.  James is a lecturer at UCLA School of Theater Film and Television.  Before Coming to Los Angeles  James was a freelance designer throughout the New York area. His work there culminated with his Off-Broadway debut of Origin Theatre's production of The International. In New York he worked with The York Theatre Company, Origin Theatre, The Irish Rep, AADA, and Pace University. James was an adjunct professor at Pace University and continued his studies at The Art Students League of New York. Originally from Atlanta, GA James received his BA from Kennesaw State University and designed with such companies as Theatrical Outfit, Dad's Garage Theatre, Alliance Theatre For the Very Young, Habima Theatre and many others.
James received his Masters from UCLA School of Theatre Film and Television.
